[Jun 28, 2008 8:06] Email phishing scam targeting WebMail users has been reported. More Information

Requirements

  • Before attempting to connect to jefferson, you must be authorized for access. Contact your LSP or the ITC Help Desk for additional information.
  • Windows XP (Service Pack 2), with all current updates and patches available through Windows Update applied.
  • A Wi-Fi certified wireless card that supports WPA Enterprise (how to tell…).
  • Wireless card configured to work with the cavalier encrypted wireless network.
  • Any machine that is used on the More Secure Network, even intermittently, must meet all of the user responsibilities at all times, even when connected to a network with a lower level of security. The user responsibilities are basic security precautions that should be applied universally. The protection provided by the More Secure Network is undermined if users introduce hacked or infected machines from the outside.
