Videoconferencing Loan Program

Graphic: Polycom Viewstation

ITC offers two Polycom ViewStation SP units for sign-out to faculty or departments needing a group videoconferencing solution.

The Polycom ViewStation SP is suited for small conference rooms and offices. The unit offers very good quality video, plus additional audio and presentation capabilities. This unit is fully interoperable with other H.323 videoconferencing systems and small enough to sit conveniently on top of almost any size S-video or composite monitor (note this does not work with a computer monitor).

There is a QuickStart Guide for using the Polycom ViewStation SP and a guide to hooking up the loaner TV. If you are interested in checking out one of these units, please contact ITC .

These units can only be checked out by faculty or staff. Should a student wish to check one out, faculty sponsorship is needed.

A checklist is provided with the equipment, and the person taking it needs to sign a statement acknowledging the transaction -- a process akin to taking out a library book. To arrange to borrow the equipment, please contact ITC.
