ITC Unix Systems Group

[Nov 21, 2008 9:49] Login issues with the Central Mail Service have now been resolved.

ITC's Unix Systems Group is responsible for administration and support of the Unix operating systems on ITC's and other University departments' Unix-based computers, supporting AIX, Irix, Solaris, and Linux operating systems on the IBM RS/6000, Silicon Graphics, Sun Microsystems, (and soon Intel) hardware platforms, respectively.

Other responsibilities of the group include the Network Appliance filers which make up the Home Directory Service.

The mailing list for Unix and Enterprise systems staff is systems@virginia.edu. This is not a closed list, and other people may also be subscribed, but the list does include all of the Unix systems and Enterprise systems groups.
