Dreamweaver Advanced
In the Dreamweaver Advanced-ITC workshop you will build on skills learned in the Dreamweaver Fundamentals course. Topics covered include: adding interactive elements to your site (image maps, multimedia files, and forms); working with meta tags; using cascading style sheets, working with Dynamic HTML features such as button rollovers and image swapping, and using Dreamweaver's template and library features to streamline web page production.
Fireworks Advanced
In the Fireworks Advanced-ITC workshop you will build on skills learned in the Fireworks Fundamentals course. In this workshop, you will gain increased familiarity with the Fireworks environment and expand your knowledge of the extensive variety of tools and special effects available for creating web-ready images. Topics covered will include: a brief review of key concepts introduced in the Fireworks Fundamentals course, and will move into creating your own buttons, rollover, and Live Effects. Animation, image maps, and slicing.
Beyond HTML
The Beyond HTML-ITC course is designed for Web Designers who have acquired intermediate-level skills in web page creation and are looking for tools to take their pages to the next level--interactivity. We will examine the capabilities of several tools which can help you create interactive and sophisticated elements for your web pages. Once we¿ve examined the tools available, you will know what steps to take to learn the tool(s) that are most appropriate for your web development needs. Tools introduced are JavaScript, DHTML, CGI/Perl, Cold Fusion, and Java.
Best Practices of Web Design
This course pulls all of the web design principles taught in previous Web Certification classes together to give a comprehensive overview of good web design. After reviewing the Web Design Guidelines and critiquing existing sites, you'll be asked to use Dreamweaver to convert an existing web site that does not conform to the Guidelines to one that is easy to navigate and maintain.
