Office Technology Conference 2008

"Your Digital Footprint, Personalizing Technology to Suit Your Needs"

UVa staff are invited to attend this year's annual Office Technology Conference on Wednesday, May 28th, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Newcomb Hall. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m..

2008 has once again found people trying to accomplish more with fewer resources.  At the same time, there is a sense of going green, reusing resources whenever possible, recycling, while maximizing your effectiveness.  This year's Office Technology Conference strives to help you do more with less and helping you remember that everything you do technology-wise, leaves a mark.  For example, the picture you post on a website may be there forever, or by using Collab or Sharepoint, you can contribute to universities all around the world.  If you're looking to save some time out of your busy day, Excel and Access can shave minutes by implementing the templates included with the software.  If you need access to people and they need to have access to you, the Apple iPhone makes it possible to stay connected 24 hours a day with just one touch.

Whatever you use in terms of technology, there are ways to have that technology work smarter and faster for you.  OTC 2008 will show you the way!

The conference registration fee is $25.

Registration is open.
