Instructor-led Training

ITC Training Services offers formal classroom training in popular software packages and certification topic areas. Each spring we host our increasingly popular Office Technology Conference, a day-long festival of technical how-to and professional networking opportunities.
Student Training
Informal instructor-led classes designed specifically for students. U.Va.'s Human Resource Office of Learning & Development offers the Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) program and administers the MOUS exams. For registration information, please call (434) 243-5998.
Byte Size Seminars
Byte Size classes are 1.5-2 hour hands-on workshops on a tool/tip/trick.
Software Training Classes
Provided by ITC Training Services to faculty, staff, and students and administered by the U.Va. Human Resources Office of Learning & Development.
Computing Survival Skills
A certification program that trains U.Va. staff members in basic computing skills so they can provide effective computer support within their departments as a Local Support Associate.
Web Certification
A program that provides training and skills needed to create and maintain web pages in the University environment.
Training of Technical Trainers
A 4-day workshop designed for people who have been involved in technical training, but who lack an apprenticeship in training theory, design, and delivery.
Information Technology Security Awareness (ITSA)
ITSA is a four-week security training program that meets for 2.5 hours each week and allows participants to test at the end of the course for a certificate of completion.
