Computing Survival Skills

Prerequisites

Each Computing Survival Skills participant must be designated as a Local Support Associate (LSA) within his/her department. The participant's supervisor and the department's LSP must approve of the time commitment required for the training, and understand that the LSA will be asked to provide some computing support for the department in addition to his/her regular duties.

Program participants should be familiar with basic computing functions and use computers on a daily basis. However, no previous networking or programming experience is necessary. Most participants have at least a basic knowledge of word processing, electronic mail, and the Internet.
