Security for Departmental Managers

[Jul 17, 2008 14:02] The feature in Xpressions that notifies a user by email when they receive a voice mail is currently not working. Siemens is aware of the problem and is working on it. This does not affect any other aspect of Xpressions.

As those chiefly responsible for the quality and quantity of work in the departments, U. Va. departmental managers are in a position to both dictate security procedures, set security policy for their respective departments, and act as a role model in following University policy for computing devices. In short, departmental managers are responsible for the security of their systems and safeguarding of the department's sensitive data. It is important that each manager take time to learn what data is sensitive or legally protected and what steps need to be taken in order to secure this data.
