SPSS Version 6.1.4 available on Solaris and RS/6000s/AIX

SPSS in newly available on ITC maintained Suns. For more info visit:
SPSS on Unix    Also, SPSS was updated to 6.1.4 on both RS/6000s/AIX and Sun/Solaris systems maintained by ITC on December 30, 1999 to a fully Year2000 compliant version. See details below.
Change to Default Date Treatment in SAS 6.12 for Unix

By default, SAS 6.12 on Unix will now treat two-digit years at being years between 1920 and 2019. You can modify this treatment by specifying the YEARCUTOFF option from within SAS. For more information about Y2K and YEARCUTOFF, click here.
Change to Default Date Treatment in SPSS 6.1.4 for Unix

By default, SPSS 6.1.4 on Unix (RS/6000s and Solaris) will now treat two-digit years at being years between 1920 and 2019. You can modify this treatment by specifying the SET EPOCH=yyyy option from within SPSS. For more information about Y2K and SET EPOCH, click here.
