Note: Before requesting a research computing account, you must have registered for electronic mail at the University of Virginia. See our Email Account Choices page for more information on getting a UVa email account.

Your home directory on the research computing platforms will be mounted from your account on the blue.unix cluster. Please include special instructions below regarding any software requirements you might have, as well as any other Unix machines to or from which you will need access.

If you are an undergradudate student requesting an account, you must have your faculty sponsor email us to certify your need and sponsor your use of the account.
