ITCWeb: AMOS Support AMOS Support

AMOS is an easy-to-use software package intended for structural equation modeling. AMOS stands for Analysis of MOment Structures and is a product of Smallwaters, Inc. although SPSS has adopted it as the structural equation modeling component of its suite of statistical software (replacing LISREL which is no longer supported by SPSS). While AMOS performs many of the same functions as LISREL (also a tool for modeling structural equation systems ), AMOS is a Windows program and features a graphical user interface and is not available on the Unix platform. LISREL has a graphical user interface on the Windows platform, but not on the Unix system (blue.unix) where it has to be run through batch command files.
