Review of Batch Laser Transfer Output

Data Control is responsible for reviewing the output from the transfer job. They will notify the requestor of the transfer, as appropriate.

Job Successful

If the batch laser code transfer job was successful, then the laser printer will only produce a Start-banner page and an End-banner page with the normal identifying job information that always appears on these type of pages.

Job Unsuccessful

If the batch laser code transfer job was not successful, then the laser printer will produce a Start-banner page, a message's page, and an End-banner page. The message's page will give clues as to why the transfer has failed.
