Editing Basics for Forms

Editing the Form from the Elixir Format
Converting the Elixir format back to 9700 Format
Fonts

Fonts must be converted to the Elixir format from the 9700 format in a similiar process in which the forms are converted. Before converting the Elixir format back to the 9700 format, make sure that all the fonts used with the form have been converted to the Elixir format. This allows the edited Elixir file format to pick up the correct Elixir font formats.

Technical Problems and Getting Extra Help

For assistance with the Elixir software, visit http://www.Elixir.com or contact the Xerox Hotline.

XJDC Compiler Tips

Remove any JCL cards from the top and the bottom of the JSL - $$START must be removed and at the end - $$END must be removed before XJDC will compile the code without errors.

Editing The Object Tips

There are no spaces between the DJDE line and the first line of the object.

For additional assistance with XJDC (the JDL compiler), contact the Xerox Hotline at 1-800-821-2797 and ask for the Elixir Hotline (you will need to provide a Xerox Serial Number and this can be obtained from Operations).

For assistance with problems surrounding laser printer code transfers send email to mainframe-systems
