ITC Announcement/Retirement of Mulberry 2.0.6

July 1, 2004

With the June 2004 release of Mulberry 3.1.3, ITC is encouraging all Mulberry users to upgrade their Mulberry email software. Mulberry is ITC's recommended electronic mail (e-mail) software program for those with Central Mail Service (CMS) e-mail accounts at U.Va. It is supported on both Windows and Macintosh platforms and may be downloaded by U.Va. faculty, staff, and students from ITC's Software Central (http://www.itc.virginia.edu/central).

The 3.1.3 release of Mulberry includes important new features, including S/MIME compatibility for security. To find out more, visit the Mulberry website at

Documentation for the older version 2.0.6 of Mulberry will be removed from ITCWeb and user support discontinued on July 1, 2004. Version 2.0.6 software is no longer available for download from Software Central.
