ITC Announcement/Mailman list manager now available

ITC is pleased to announce the availability of Mailman, a new web-based interface for making and managing email lists. Whether you need to create a mailing list for a U.Va. committee, a project, a department, or a chartered student organization, Mailman can help you set it up in no time! If you are already using a mail list set up under the old Majordomo system, you can quickly convert it to a Mailman list and use the new interface to manage it. Beginning August 1, 2003 all new lists will be created as Mailman lists. Until that time, Mailman is recommended for list management, and any new lists created will be Mailman lists unless Majordomo is specifically requested. Majordomo service will be retired on Jan 1, 2004.
