The standard allowances represent defaults that are in place when you establish an account. ITC's accounts office in the Dynamics Building (accounts@virginia.edu) adjusts these storage limits upon request. In exceptional cases and with appropriate academic justification, this office can assist persons seeking exceptions to the maximum no-fee limits as well.

Course materials

ITC will allocate disk space in specially designated locations for materials related to academic courses according to a similar set of limits. Such limits will be beyond those that apply to any standard accounts a faculty member holds. ITC allocates the disk space for course materials on a per-course-section-number basis. Disk space beyond the limits is available for a fee based on the costs of providing it.
