Network-Based Information Services' Agendas
From Louise Dudley to the NBIS Committee / 2-9-96:
N-BISers: Progress! We can momentarily put the mission statement aside
and, with Polley's encouragement and $$ (see below), expand on ways to help
departments develop their web presence.
Dan Larson, physics chair & head of Faculty Senate, was the person
who asked for help in the cabinet meeting. He says departmental page
"owners" need guidance about features expected on institutional pages,
graphic standards, and any policies or procedures that apply. Let's talk
at our next meeting about what's already available and what more we could
do. (Who would be the best person to describe the "toolkit," if that's
part of the answer?) Louise
