Agenda: NBIS Meeting on October 19, 2000

Agenda topics:

	New state requirement to post a privacy notice on our 
website.   Nancy has been circulating a model statement to Univ 
lawyers and others for comments/revision.  We'll have copies there.

	Progress on ITC's consideration of offering .org or .com accounts

	Updates from each of you on new initiatives in your area. 
This is partly to keep us informed and partly because we always seem 
to discover ways to work together when we hear what someone else has 
in the works.

	Review of our N-BIS mission statement.   The committee 
drafted a new one more than a year ago, which has never been blessed 
(or at least isn't up on our committee web site).  Let's look at it 
again and, if it seems necessary, put it forward again.
