David asked the commitee to send their Spring 96 schedules to him in
order to plan for the commitee's Spring Semester meetings. He reminded
the ACSP "lead readers" that he needed a statement from each about
their assigned proposals.

Two reports made to the UCIT committee meeting on December 6, 1995 were
noted: Jim Jokl's report on the status of ITC's new modem pool and an
announcement of the State's contract with Sprint to provide an "access
service" for a monthly fee; Tim Sigmon's report on ITC's plans to
upgrade the current configuration of RS6000 computers and to enhance
the SP2 by adding more nodes.

The committee returned to reviewing and evaluating the remaining ACSP
proposals with the knowledge that some of ITC's "Apple points" might
be used to supplement the ACSP budget from the Provost. The meeting
concluded when almost all of the funding recommendations had been
finalized, with a few loose ends left to be decided under the guidance
of David Phillips.
