The Mission of the Mainframe Systems Services Group is to provide the highest quality information technology infrastructure and services to The University of Virginia's administrative staff in pursuit of the University's general aims and objectives.

The Mainframe Systems Services staff is responsible for maintaining the administrative mainframe operating system, the Integrated Systems infrastructure, and the Student System Project infrastructure.
This includes system installation and configuration, troubleshooting, and backups and restores.
Consulting services are provided for all administrative areas, ITC and non-ITC.
