Copying Data Between the Production and Test LPARs

Copying from production to test lpar


Due to the restrictions of System Managed Storage (SMS), and limited disk space on the TEST30 volume, and the desire to keep the system catalogs clean, all dataset movements between lpars should be performed by the Mainframe Systems staff.

Send a list of datasets to be moved to:
Mainframe Systems
specifying in which direction the movement should occur, and whether or not existing datasets with the same name can be overwritten.
