Accessing the Web on a Mobile Device

At this time, most mobile devices cannot connect to UVa's encrypted cavalier wireless network—with the exception of iPhone 3Gs and iPhones/iPod touches with the Apple Software Version 2.0 upgrade (available as a download from iTunes)—but they can access UVa's unencrypted wahoo wireless network.

Costs and Policies

There are some costs and policies associated with accessing the UVa Exchange Service on a mobile device. See Microsoft Exchange: Connecting a Mobile Device for more information on these.

Tech Support for Mobile Devices

ITC provides limited technical support for smartphones. We offer only configuration documentation. For help beyond initial setup, we refer you to your cellular phone carrier and your device's vendor website.
