If you are using Windows NT/2000 Workstation

| 1.
Press CTRL - ALT - DEL on the keyboard at the same time. |
| 2.
In the Windows NT/2000 Security dialog box, click on Change Password. |
| 3.
Complete the dialog box with the entries listed on the right. |

| 5. Click Cancel to return to Windows NT/2000.

If you are using Windows 95/98 - Note:
You must have the Client for Microsoft Networks installed, and be
logged on as yourself.

From the Start menu, select Programs - MS DOS Prompt. |
|
2.
At the MS DOS command prompt, type the commands as shown:
- C:\>net
password \\servername example: net password
\\yourservernamehere
- Press
Enter.
- At
prompt, enter your User ID (example: mst3k),
press Enter.
- When
prompted, enter your old password and then your new password.

the net password command cannot find the servername (example:
\\yourservernamehere) you entered, you may need to create
an lmhosts file. If this appears to be the case please consult with
your local computing support person. |
