UVa's Microsoft Contracts

Select Contract Ordering Instructions

Orders for software, CDs, DVDs, manuals, comprehensive kits, and subscriptions under the UVa Microsoft Select Contract go to Software House International—UVa's Microsoft distributor.

Required Information for Every Order

All orders must have the following information on them:

  • The State of Virginia Contract Number: VA-070907-SHI
  • Software House International's Federal ID Number: 223009648
  • Commonwealth's Master License Agreement Number: 01S65764
  • UVa's Select Enrollment Agreement Number: 7893041
  • The email address of the person placing the order

Payment Process Using UVa Marketplace (UVa Integrated System, ISDS, Oracle)

  1. Use a non-catalog order form. When prompted for the vendor, search for Software House International and then use the first eVa-registered one, with the Piscataway, NJ address.
  2. When entering the order, place the "Part Number" (e.g 66J-00592) in the Catalog No. field.
  3. Place the "Item Name" (e.g. Windows Vista Business All Lng UPG MVL) in the Product Description field.
  4. On the final screen (Checkout: Review Approver List), enter the mandatory information shown above in the "Note to Supplier" field.
  5. When you have generated your purchase order in the UVa Marketplace, fax it to Software House International at 732-564-8218.
  6. Send a copy of the details of your order to Tony Townsend (the UVa Program Administrator) for record-keeping:

You should receive an invoice within 30 days. For audit purposes, UVa's Select Contract Administrator gets a copy of all orders, as well as license summaries from Microsoft. Departments do not receive any physical licenses.

Payment Process Not Using UVa Marketplace

  1. Create a purchase order with the items and quantities you need.
  2. Fax this order to Software House International at 732-564-8218.
  3. Send a copy of your order to UVa's Select Program Administrator. See step 6, above.
