U.Va. Network Authenticated Login

[May 09, 2008 16:59] The Instructional Toolkit is now available.

To enhance the security of the U.Va. network, authenticated login is now required in order to use computers in the University Library and the ITC labs and classrooms. To log in, enter your U.Va. computing ID (e.g., mst3k) and the password you use for your Eservices account. If you are a guest patron of the library who is not affiliated with the University, you may obtain a temporary username and password from the library service desk.

Can't recall your password?

  • If you are in an ITC facility...
  • If you are using a Library computer...
    • You can go to the service desk and ask a librarian to help you reset.

If you try to log in five times using an incorrect ID or password, you will be locked out of the system for 15 minutes.

Logging Out - Important!

  • Once a computer is inactive for 14 minutes, it automatically logs out the current user without saving any open data files! A warning will pop up to let you know when logout is imminent.
  • When you are finished with a computer, please remember to log out.
