Most ITC facilities are closed for the the July 4th holiday.
New Policy on Electronic Storage of Highly Sensitive Data Announced
The University has issued a new highly sensitive data policy, strictly limiting the circumstances under which sensitive data may be stored on individual-use electronic devices and media, and mandating that strict security requirements be met when such storage is unavoidable. It is the responsibility of individuals to determine if they have highly sensitive data on their device(s) and media and, if so, to ensure compliance with this policy.
Student and Alumni Email Overhaul Continues
Phased invitations have gone out to all current students for the transition to UVa student email partners Google and Microsoft. Students should select a vendor for migration now, and migrations will begin later this summer. Read the news story for more.
Faculty: Migrate from Instructional Toolkit to UVaCollab
UVa faculty are encouraged to begin migrating their course materials to UVaCollab for courses next fall, as Toolkit sites will be placed in read-only mode this time next year. Migration instructions.
