The Instructional Technology Group will be offering faculty workshops throughout the year. These classes are designed to introduce instructors to various multimedia tools and to the Internet. Instructors will learn how to incorporate technology into their teaching method.

Classes are conducted in several settings: in ITC's hands-on training room, in your department, or in your own office. Audiences for these training classes range from faculty and instructors, departments, to project teams and TA groups. Below is a sample listing of workshops and classes that are frequently requested. Special sessions can also be arranged to address specific concerns, as well as brainstorming sessions to find solutions for specific curricula or classes.

There is no fee for any of the courses. To inquire about any of these classes, or to schedule or request classes, call 243-6619 or email itc-it@virginia.edu. If you have suggestions for other courses or any questions, please feel free to email or come by the Digital Media Lab in the Robertson Media Center in Clemons Library.

A whole range of solutions are incorporated from simple solutions that can be done from an instructors office to larger multimedia projects and issues of planning and managing these solutions are also addressed.
