Mail<->News gateways

[Nov 23, 2009 14:09] Web access to Microsoft Live@edu accounts now works.

A Mail<->News gateway enables email and news reader participants to communicate with each other. All messages sent to the mailing list are automatically posted to the newsgroup, and all messages that are posted to the newsgroup are sent to the mailing list. This configuration change must be performed by the Postmaster.

Changes to the following configuration options will be ignored, please email postmaster@virginia.edu with your request.
Send new mailing list posts to newsgroup:
Default is No.
Send new newsgroup posts to mailing list:
Default is No.
Perform one-time catchup on newsgroup:
Default is No.
Prefix Subject headers on postings gated to news?:
Default is Yes.
