Email Mailing Lists

[Nov 21, 2008 9:49] Login issues with the Central Mail Service have now been resolved.

If you have messages that you send to, or exchange with, a group of people on a routine basis, you may want to consider an email mailing list. Email messages sent to a mailing list address are normally distributed to all email addresses subscribed to the list. This documentation contains detailed instructions for many common tasks and helpful information for both list administrators and members of Mailman mailing lists at the University of Virginia.

Requirements

Mailing lists are available to members of the University of Virginia (U.Va.) community and will be created to:

  • Support research, academic, and professional efforts,
  • Facilitate the administrative work of the community, and
  • Support the work of student CIO organizations.
