IMAP Settings for the CMS

[Nov 23, 2009 14:09] Web access to Microsoft Live@edu accounts now works.

To be able to connect via IMAP to the Central Mail Services, you will need to have an account on the CMS and know your CMS password.

IMAP Settings for Central Mail Services

All ports are standard and do not need setting.

  • Incoming Mail Server: cms.mail.virginia.edu
  • Outgoing Mail Server: cms.mail.virginia.edu
  • Secure connection: none
  • email address: UVa Computing ID@mail.virginia.edu
    Example email address: mst3k@virginia.edu
  • LDAP Configuration (for Directory Services) LDAP server: ldap.virginia.edu
    Search base: o=University of Virginia,c=US
