Contributed Software

PURPOSE:

To share user contributed, unsupported Unix software

CONTRIBUTING PROCEDURE:

Each contribution should include:

  • program source code that has been compiled and used on an ITC machine
  • any and all files that were included with the source code distribution
  • name of the machine architecture for which the source was compiled
  • a message stating where the code came from
  • a brief description (overview of the program)

Send an electronic mail message to contrib@virginia.edu.

ITC reserves the right not to install contributed software that does not provide benefit to other users or software that conflicts with other University policies. You will be notified as to whether your contribution was accepted or not. Games or frivolous programs will not be installed.
