To connect to the University of Virginia Integrated System you need to do some early preparation one time. Depending on how you use the Integrated System you will need to connect with a web browser or connect with Discoverer to access information.
This set of steps typically only need to be done once per machine and user. For most steps the order is not critical, but you must have an appropriate machine before you install any software. You must have an Integrated System account before you can get a VPN account, but you can install the software before you have any accounts.

You will not be able to get a VPN account until the Integrated System has created your Oracle account |
