Integrated System Information

The authoritative source for general Integrated Systems Project information is the Integrated System Development and Support web Site. The following instructions are provided since help for changing passwords crosses ITC and Integrated System support boundaries.

How to change your Oracle password

  1. Start the VPN client, selecting the Oracle-and-or-Mercury profile
  2. Open your browser and go to http://www.virginia.edu/integratedsystem/
  3. Select "Enter Integrated System Applications here"
  4. On the Application Launch Page, after Production, click "Go!"
  5. Login to Oracle with your userID and password
  6. Choose one of your Responsibilities and open any form for that Responsibility
  7. On the Edit menu choose "Preferences" and then select "Change Password"
  8. Enter your old password, then a new password, and re-type the new one to verify it.
  9. Click "Okay" to complete the process.

Password Reminders:

Your new password must be a strong password: a combination of characters and numbers, except the $ and @ characters, which will cause you to be locked out of Discoverer

Your new password will take effect immediately in the Oracle application

Your Discoverer password will be changed overnight to this new password and will not be usable with Discoverer UNTIL the next day.
