[Nov 21, 2008 9:49] Login issues with the Central Mail Service have now been resolved.
For UVa Faculty and Staff
As of Jan. 15, 2008, Oracle Calendar (also known as CorporateTime) is no longer the centralized calendaring solution at UVa. This service has been replaced with Microsoft Exchange.
- You will need an Eservices account in order to request an account on the Centralized Exchange Server.
- You can access your Exchange calendar on your own computer using Microsoft Outlook 2003 or 2007, or Entourage (on a Mac), or from anywhere uisng the Outlook Web interface.
For UVa Students
As of Jan. 15, 2008, Oracle Calendar (also known as CorporateTime) is no longer the centralized calendaring solution at UVa. Faculty and staff who used Oracle Calendar have migrated to Microsoft Exchange for their calendaring needs; however, Exchange accounts are not available to students for personal use.
If a student works for a department, and needs to schedule meetings, resources such as conference rooms, or events in the capacity of an employee, the department employing the student should request an Exchange account for him/her.
Personal calendar services for students are available in conjunction with the new student email services debuting this semester.
Note for Oracle Calendar Offline Users
Oracle Calendar is no longer a centrally-provided calendaring solution at UVa. If you want information about using an already-installed Oracle client in offline mode only, please visit our Oracle Calendar Offline page.
