This information is intended for Data Security Contacts (DSCs) of UVa Faculty and Staff who have accounts that allow them to interface with the Virginia Department of Information Technology (DIT) systems in Richmond.
When Requesting A New DIT LogonID
Submit your request for a new LogonID via the online security system. State "DIT user id requested," and list the system access needed, in the comment section.
When Requesting Account Resets
Please contact a member of the Administrative Data Security group (in the order shown below), and relay the following information:
- User name, department and telephone number
- User LogonID
- Whether account reset is needed at PIX Firewall password or at the LogonID password
- If the reset is an emergency, contact the staff in the order listed below, and note in your message that the reset should be handled on an emergency basis.
