Changing Your Oracle Password

How to change your Oracle password

  1. Start the VPN client, selecting the Oracle-and-or-Mercury profile.
  2. Open another window or tab in your browser and go to the Integrated System Application Launch Pad
  3. Click the Go! button beside Production and Self Service.
  4. Login to Oracle with your userID and password
  5. Choose one of your Responsibilities and open any form for that Responsibility.
  6. On the Edit menu choose Preferences and then select Change Password.
  7. Enter your old password, then a new password, and re-type the new one to verify it.
  8. Click OK to complete the process.

Password Reminders

  • Your new password must be a strong password: a combination of characters and numbers, except the $ and @ characters, which will cause you to be locked out of Discoverer.
  • Your new password will take effect immediately in the Oracle application.
  • Your Discoverer password will be changed overnight to this new password and will not be usable with Discoverer until the next day.
