Current Wireless Access Points
New access points are added based on input from the faculty advisory committee for wireless technology, feedback from students, and departments with the availability of project-based internal funding. New buildings have wireless networking built in.
Notes
- Wireless access is available in the McCormick and Alderman Road residence complexes. Implementation is ongoing in other residence halls.
- Due to hospital interference concerns, 802.11a is not available in the School of Medicine areas of the medical center. School of Medicine wireless access is managed by ITC; Health System Computing Services (HSCS) manages the other medical center locations.
