The More Secure Network
Technical Information for Departmental Support Staff

The intended audience for these pages is the departmental LSP. If you are reading this page because you think your computer should be on the More Secure Network but your department doesn't have an LSP, please check this site every few months. The More Secure network be made available to departments without an LSP in the future. If you believe that you need the extra security now and can not wait, please use the contact us link at the bottom of the left hand site index.

The total effort required to move your workstations, printers, servers, and/or other network devices to the MSN will depend on many things, such as the complexity of your current network, how you use your network, and whether you expect to move all or a subset of your users, servers, and other devices. As you plan and carry out the move, if you have any questions that are not answered within these pages, use the contact us link at the bottom of the left hand site index. ITC is available to answer questions and help ensure a successful migration.

LSPs can request access to the network tools used to migrate users to the More Secure network by using the secnet-info email address on the contact us page.

Wireless access to the More Secure Network is not available. While it will be available in the future, the schedule for this work is unknown at this time.
