ITC Communication Services

Organization

What we do

ITC's Communication Services group provides telephone services to all University and Health Sciences Center departments, students in residence halls, and the Regional Centers of the Division of Continuing Education.

The Carruthers Hall staff is responsible for processing requests for both service changes and equipment installation/relocation/removal. This group also handles telephone service billing, requests for Forced Authorization Codes and telephone calling cards, PhoneMail service, requests for in-bound 800 numbers, and preparation of the University of Virginia Telephone Directory.

The staff in McKim Hall is responsible for paging services, ACD Reporting, operator services, and emergency call services.

Personnel in both groups provide consulting on telephone systems design and selection.
