Important Purchasing Process Change

October 14, 1999

Purchase of items for gifts of appreciation can be made only with local funds, and then only with the approval of Dr. Reynolds and Accounts Payable. Purchase of food items may be made using state funds in certain circumstances (provided during training sessions, for hosting individuals outside of our department, and certain catered events), but other food purchases must be made using local funds.

Because ITCs availability of local funds is very limited, all planned purchases of gifts or food must have Susie McCormick's prior approval. Please continue to process your requests through the ITC Purchasing Group. They will coordinate review and approval with Susie.
